Blaine Police Department says that three occupants of an SUV were injured in the rollover crash that followed a chase in the north metro Monday morning.

Highway 65 was still closed southbound at 9 a.m., having been shut down for more than three hours following the crash, which came after police carried out a PIT maneuver to stop the fleeing vehicle.

Blaine PD says the chase started at the Walmart store on Ulysses Street NE, where they'd received a report of a suspicious male walking the parking lot looking into vehicles.

They were then told that the man was seen driving in the area, with officers learning that the vehicle was stolen.

A chase ensured, ending with the rollover crash. The driver and two others in the car were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
