Shopping at Hy-Vee all hours of the day will soon no longer be an option for Minnesota customers.

Beginning Monday, Feb. 10, the majority of Hy-Vee stores in the Midwest will no longer be open to customers 24 hours a day.

That includes 11 Hy-Vee stores in the Twin Cities metro area and 25 in greater Minnesota:

Metro-area Hy-Vee locations: Brooklyn Park, Cottage Grove, Eagan, Lakeville, Lakeville (Fast & Fresh), Maple Grove, New Hope, Plymouth, Robbinsdale, Savage, Shakopee

Greater Minnesota Hy-Vee locations: Albert Lea, Austin, Fairmont, Faribault, Kasson, Mankato (2), Marshall, New Ulm, Owatonna, Pine Island, Plainview, Preston, Rochester (4), Spring Valley, St. Charles, St. Peter, Stewartville, Windom, Winona, Worthington, Zumbrota

All Twin Cities-area stores will be open from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., while store hours at greater Minnesota Hy-Vee stores will vary.

Customers in need of an overnight grocery run will have to settle for Cub Foods or Walmart, both of which still have numerous Twin Cities stores with 24-7 service.

FOX 9 reports that the change in hours won't result in any job losses, with overnight employees instead just working daytimehours.
