I-35W closed southbound after 'serious crash' in Richfield

A serious crash has closed I-35W southbound in Richfield.

According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation, the crash happened between American Boulevard West and the exit for 82nd Street.

The southbound lanes are closed while the scene is cleared. As of 6:20 p.m., there's no indication what time the road will reopen.

There are no details yet on injuries.

Images from MnDOT cameras shows recovery vehicles are at the scene.
