IHOP is giving away free pancakes today
It's National Pancake Day!
To celebrate, the International House of Pancakes is giving away free short stacks of pancakes until 7 p.m., with some locations open until 10 p.m., a news release says.
In return for the free pancakes, IHOP asks that you make a donation to one of its charity partners – Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
The restaurant chain has a goal of raising $3.5 million on Tuesday, with IHOP noting the money raised "stays local and directly helps children in need."
To date, IHOP's National Pancake Day has raised $24 million for youth health and wellness organizations.
IHOP has at least nine locations in Minnesota, mostly in the Twin Cities.
