Investigators are looking to identify a blue home that has a statue at the end of the driveway in connection with a missing persons case in west-central Minnesota.

Laura Ann Schwendemann, 18, has been missing since Oct. 14, when she was last seen at a Holiday gas station on 50th Avenue in Alexandria, Douglas and Pope County officials said.

Officials have asked for the public's help locating her, and on Monday they released more information about where she may have been seen recently.

In a post on Facebook, the Douglas County Sheriff's Office said it's trying to locate a "blue-colored residence with a statue approximately three feet tall near the end of the driveway. The statue is described as having blue clothing and a red hat."

"This location is only being sought as a general area the missing person may have been observed," the sheriff's office added.

Anyone with information about this residence is asked to call the Douglas County Sheriff's Office at 320-762-8151, or the Pope County Sheriff's Office at 320-634-5411.

Police have also asked for help from local hunters and farmers to keep an eye out for anything suspicious.

Investigators said they have "specific interest" in the townships of Holmes City and Solem, in Douglas County, and Nora, Ben and Wade in Pope County.
