Investigation launched after death at home in Lakeville

Police in Lakeville have launched an investigation into a death at a home in Lakeville.

The incident was first announced around 1:40 p.m. Friday, with Lakeville PD saying it occurred at a residence on the 17700 block of Glasgow Way.

Few details have been released at this stage, with Lakeville PD saying it would provide more updates on its social media pages.

However, police were at the scene for an extensive period of time, and said that the block of Glasgow Way wouldn't be re-opening until 6 a.m.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has joined the investigation, with police saying there's no known threat to the public.
