It was a deadly weekend on Minnesota roads, with six people killed in crash since Friday night.

According to the information from the Minnesota State Patrol and local sheriff's offices, alcohol is a suspected factor in two of the four fatal crashes.

Alcohol involved in deadly Brainerd crash

Dani Detloff, 23, of Backus, died in a crash near Brainerd just before 6:30 p.m. Friday. 

Detloff was on 16th St. NW when she turned onto Hwy. 371 and was struck by a Ford F-150. 

Both the driver and passenger in the F-150 were under the influence of alcohol, according to the State Patrol. 

1 dead, 2 critical in north metro crash

A 60-year-old man from Lindstrom was killed when the minivan he was driving was struck by an SUV that crossed the center line on Viking Boulevard NE in Linwood Township. 

The passenger in the minivan, a 59-year-old woman, was taken to Regions Hospital in critical condition after the crash around 7:30 p.m. Friday,

The 34-year-old woman driving the SUV was airlifted to North Memorial Hospital in critical condition. 

No seat belts and alcohol in southern MN

Just after midnight Sunday, a Chevy Silverado left the road on northbound Hwy. 263 in Martin County, southern Minnesota, and rolled multiple times, ejecting both passengers from the vehicle.

Myra Ivehe Guzman, 26, of Fairmont, was killed.

The 27-year-old driver survived the crash with non life-threatening injuries and was taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester. 

Neither the driver nor Guzman were wearing a seat belt, and alcohol is believed to have been a factor. 

Braham students killed 

Senior Alexis Hasser and Junior Gavin Butenhoff died in a 2-vehicle crash at the intersection of 195th Avenue and Rainbow Street in Kanabec County Saturday morning.
