Investigators searching for new evidence in the case of the missing St. Paul resident Kira Trevino are seeking access to her husband's Facebook page after one of his friends told police that Jeffery Trevino had included "NWNP" in Facebook communications, the Pioneer Press reports.

The friend told investigators NWNP stands for "no witnesses, no proof," the newspaper reports.

That information comes from an affidavit made public Wednesday in support of a search warrant to obtain records from the Palo Alto, Calif.-based Facebook, the Pioneer Press reports.

The newspaper says investigators have also obtained a similar warrant for access to the Facebook accounts of Kira Trevino and Matthew Roff, who lived with the couple in their home on Iowa Avenue in St. Paul. A police spokesman would not say whether Roff is also a suspect.

Jeffery Trevino, 39, is being held on second-degree murder charges. He pleaded not guilty. Kira Trevino, 30, is presumed dead, although the search for her body continues.

Trevino was last seen Feb. 21 and reported missing by Jeffery Trevino on Feb. 24. He was charged Feb. 28.

Police found blood in the couple's home. Evidence in the case also includes a bag found near Keller Lake in Maplewood – the site of a number of police and volunteer searches – that contained a bloody pillowcase and DNA that matched that of Kira Trevino.
