Entrepreneur and restauranteur Steven Schussler, creator of Rainforest Cafe, revealed Thursday that he is working on a new themed restaurant.

Schussler of Minneapolis told BringMeTheNews CEO Rick Kupchella at a Smile Network-sponsored monthly event that plans for a new upscale restaurant influenced by Lake Minnetonka could be finalized soon. "It's all about the water," Schussler said.

The Smile events highlight the work of Minnesota business leaders. Schussler opened the first Rainforest Cafe location in a 13,000-square-foot space at the Mall of America in 1994. Over the next seven years, Schussler grew the restaurant chain to 45 locations across three continents.

"People will come once for the wow factor, so I built a wow factor," Schussler said. "But you really come back for quality food and service."

Schussler's national best-selling book "It's a Jungle In There," written with business professor and psychologist Marvin Karlins, outlines a recipe for entrepreneurial success: the five P's and the five E's.
