'Large police presence' after shooting near St. Cloud

One person was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

There is a "large police presence" at the scene of a shooting in LeSauk Township Tuesday morning.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office said the shooting occurred on the 32000 block of River Oaks Lane in the township, which is just north of St. Cloud. According to the sheriff's office, one shooting victim was taken to St. Cloud Hospital, but the extent of their injuries is unknown.

While authorities believe this is not a random incident, and that there is no indication of a danger to the public, a "large police presence is still in the area."

The sheriff's office said it will provide more details in the future.
