Le Sueur County man jailed after body found in burning structure

A 25-year-old man has been jailed on suspicion of murder and arson after a body was found inside a structure that was on fire Sunday morning. 

According to the Le Sueur County Sheriff's Office, the structure fire was reported at 37722 Hunting Preserve Lane in Le Center around 7:15 a.m., with investigators finding a body inside the structure. 

The sheriff's office believes the body is that of the resident of the address, 64-year-old Bruce Alan Traxler. 

Investigators later arrested a 25-year-old Le Center man and booked him at the county jail on suspicion of second-degree murder and arson. Bring Me The News does not typically name suspects until formal charges are filed. 

According to the Le Sueur County News, it's the first murder in the county since 2014.
