Let's go ski a kite

The winter of 2012-13 is in its waning weeks.

But as long as it's still icy -- and the sun's shining and there's a breeze in the air -- let's make the most of it.

One increasingly popular way is by kite skiing. Once the wind fills your kite, skiing across an open lake is a breeze.

While a few skiers were having fun in Minneapolis, the Brainerd Dispatch caught a glimpse of a whole pack of kites on Mille Lacs for the annual Kite Crossing event.
