Popular Stillwater brewery Lift Bridge closed its taproom for two days starting Wednesday after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.
The brewery, known for beers including "Farm Girl" and "Hop Dish," announced Wednesday that it was closing the taproom for a "deep clean."
The employee who contracted the virus developed symptoms "outside of working hours" and subsequently tested positive.
"As an extra precaution, will be taking this time to test other employees and perform another deep clean," the brewery said.
It's the intention for the taproom to reopen on Friday.
There have been several instances of breweries, bars and restaurants temporarily closing due to an employee's positive COVID-19 test since they were allowed to reopen earlier in the summer.
