Authorities are expecting major clashes between extremists and law enforcement in Minneapolis on Saturday evening.

Some 2,500 National Guard soldiers have been mobilized to respond to the civil unrest in Minneapolis, which started out as protests over the killing of George Floyd, but which state and city leaders say has since been co-opted by extremist groups, predominantly from outside the city.
