Access America Transport, a national third-party logistics provider based in Tennessee, plans to add 500 jobs in the Twin Cities metro over next five years, the Business Journal reports. The firm recently moved to a new 30,000-square-foot office in Brooklyn Park after outgrowing a smaller Ramsey facility.

Steve Cox, an executive vice president who heads the Twin Cities branch, told the Pioneer Press the company has added about 100 employees to its Minnesota operations in the past two years. He expects to hire up to 90 new workers just this year.

Access America plans to announce a jobs and training partnership with St. Cloud State University on Friday. Nearly 50 percent of the company's current 150 employees are St. Cloud State graduates.
