Interstate 94 eastbound reopens after fatal crash in Rogers, Maple Grove

Interstate 94 eastbound at Hwy. 101 reopened around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, more than five hours after a semi traveling westbound crossed over the medium and caused a six-vehicle crash.
One person died, one other was airlifted to a hospital for care and four others suffered minor injuries.

The Minnesota State Patrol says that the semi crash on I-94 in Maple Grove is a fatal one.
The interstate remains closed eastbound.

A major crash involving a semi has shut down eastbound Interstate 94 in Maple Grove.
The Minnesota State Patrol says it is a fatal, multi-vehicle crash that will take approximately two hours to clear. Drivers will need to find an alternate route.
According to MnDOT, eastbound I-94 traffic is being diverted to Hwy. 101. The crash has also caused significant delays on westbound I-94 as traffic is diverted.
