“Operation Exile,” an statewide drug investigation that coordinates law enforcement from Duluth, Rochester and the Twin Cities, led to the arrest of what the Duluth News Tribune
calls a "major dealer" in Duluth's heroin scene.

Antonio Dantinue Long, 38, of Duluth man was charged Monday in State District Court with possessing more than 25 grams of heroin and cocaine, third-degree sale of a controlled substance and felon in possession of a firearm. The Northlands News Center said police alleged that the loaded .45 caliber handgun in his possession was stolen from a gun show in Moose Lake last year.

WDIO reports that Long is currently incarcerated in the St. Louis County Jail. Long's bust follows a multi-agency drug investigation, spearheaded by the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force

A dozen more area suspects are still wanted on arrest warrants in connection with the largest heroin trafficking investigation in state history, officials said Monday. The Operation Exile investigation previously led to more than 150 arrest warrants issued statewide, including 41 in Duluth.
