Man, 32, killed in tractor incident in central Minnesota
A 32-year-old man was killed in a workplace accident while using a tractor in Stearns County.
According to the Stearns County Sheriff's Office, the accident happened Jan. 8 around 5:20 p.m. on the 36000 block of County Road 186 in Melrose Township.
There, the sheriff's office says Keith D. Kingsley became "entangled and trapped" in the power take off (PTO) shaft of a tractor he was using. The 32-year-old Melrose man died at the scene.
The sheriff's office said Kingsley was pulling a trailer with the tractor to sanitize the inside of a turkey barn when the accident happened.
The workplace death is still being investigated.
