A Minnesotan suspected of raping a woman in October has been captured in Texas after allegedly fleeing the state.

The 38-year-old from Waseca is facing charged for first-degree criminal sexual conduct and third-degree sexual conduct in Waseca County District Court, according to the Pioneer Press.

He was being held in Steele County Jail over the alleged crime in early October, and is alleged to have fled the state after posting a non-cash bond on October 15, the newspaper notes.

The Mankato Free Press reports that a criminal complaint accuses him of entering a woman's house in Waseca and demanding she have sex with him for money.

When she refused, he is allegedly to have cornered her in the bedroom and raping her. The woman and her husband are both believed to be known to the suspect.

He was apprehended earlier this month, the newspaper says, by the Sullivan City Police Department in Texas, where he is originally from.

He has been booked into Waseca County Jail, with his new bail set at $150,000 without conditions, and $125,000 with conditions.
