Man and woman arrested for murder of 8-year-old Autumn Hallow

The 8-year-old died Thursday at an apartment in Elk River.

A man and a woman have been arrested for the murder of 8-year-old Autumn Hallow in Elk River, Minnesota.

Autumn was found unresponsive and not breathing at The Depot at Elk River Station apartment complex at 10653-172nd Ave. NW. just before 4 p.m. Thursday.

Efforts to revive her by first responders were unsuccessful, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

A medical examiner determined her death to be the result of a homicide.

On Friday evening, the Sherburne County Sheriff's Office arrested a 30-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman for probable cause 2nd-degree murder.

While the pair's relationship to Autumn has not been confirmed, they both share the same family name. BMTN does not typically name crime suspects until they have been charged.
