The FBI is searching for a man who carried out an armed robbery at a Wells Fargo Bank in Minneapolis Friday.

WCCO reports that the man entered the bank on the 2300 Central Ave. NE and approached the counter, displaying a handgun in his waistband to the teller.

He then gave her a note demanding money, and after getting some he fled on foot north on Central Ave. NE. and then west on 24th Ave. NE., the TV station adds.

KSTP reports that the robbery happened at around 10:25 a.m, with the suspect described as a black man about 6-feet tall, with a medium build and black hair, mustache and goatee.

He was wearing a light blue, long-sleeved shirt, light blue jeans, white shoes, and a royal blue Kangol hat at the time of the robbery, KSTP notes.

Anyone with information should call Minneapolis FBI at 763-569-8000. A reward is being offered leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
