A man has made his first court appearance in connection with the alleged murder of another man in St. Cloud this past November.
Ricee Tyson, 43, of St. Cloud, has been charged with 2nd-degree murder and 1st-and-2nd-degree manslaughter in the killing of Tyler Ecklund, 25.
Ecklund's body was found outside in a vacant lot in the 1000 block of 55th Avenue Southeast, near St. Cloud Regional Airport, on the evening of November 14.
An autopsy confirmed that he had been shot in the head, with his death sparking a joint investigation buy the Sherburne County Sheriff's Office, St. Cloud Police Department, and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
Tyson made his first court appearance Monday, with his bail set at $2 million without conditions and $1 million with conditions.
