Man critical after falling onto rocks at Interstate State Park
A man is in a critical condition after falling from a rock ledge at Interstate State Park near Taylors Falls, Minnesota.
The incident happened just after noon Friday, with the man "overlooking" the ledge before falling approximately 30 feet onto rocks below.
The ledge he fell from is known by locals as "Angle Rock."
His fall prompted a rescue effort, and due to his position he had to be reached by boat on the St. Croix River.
A rescue team and fire departments from Taylors Falls and St. Croix Falls in Wisconsin brought him to shore, and he was ultimately flown by air ambulance to a hospital for treatment, and he's currently in a critical condition.
