Man dead, woman arrested after 'chaotic' scene in Minneapolis

The early morning incident happened in the Como neighborhood.

A man has died and a woman has been arrested after what police described as a "chaotic" scene in Minneapolis on Saturday morning.

Police were called to a report of "unknown trouble" around 6 a.m. on the 900 block of 15th Avenue Southeast in the Como neighborhood.

It was there they found a group of several people at an apartment, where there had been a incident between a man and a woman.

The man, in his 30s, was suffering from a wound of "unknown origin," which would later prove fatal at the hospital.

They took into custody a 35-year-old woman who was originally taken to a detox facility, before being transported to Hennepin County Jail on probable cause murder.

The investigation continues, with a decision to be made on charges in the coming days.

A neighbor told KSTP that the male victim had just moved into the apartment a few days ago, and that they heard fighting from their apartment in early hours of the morning.
