A man has died after being found shot in a parked car in south Minneapolis in the early hours of Wednesday.
Minneapolis PD says it found the man after responding to a report of shots fired in the area of the 2000 block of 28th Avenue South at 12:48 a.m.
The man was removed from the vehicle and officers commenced CPR, but he was pronounced dead when paramedics arrived at the scene.
The shooting is under investigation, with nobody in custody at this time.

It marks the 81st homicide in Minneapolis in 2020, compared to 48 in 2019.
On Tuesday, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner identified the 80th homicide victim – who was shot on the 3200 block of Aldrich Avenue North on Sunday – as 17-year-old Amari'on Jarae Johnson.
