Man dies after being severely burned in central Minnesota grass fire
A man is dead following a grass fire in central Minnesota on Sunday.
According to the Todd County Sheriff's Office, the fire was reported around 3 p.m. at 11107 Alexander Loop near Pauley Lake, which is about eight miles northeast of Sauk Centre.
On arrival deputies and the Sauk Centre Fire Department found a man, age 76, severely burned from the fire. The man was transported by ambulance to a hospital in Sauk Centre where he later died from his injuries.
The man's identity has not been released, nor has the cause of the fire, which remains under investigation.
