Man, 63, dies after being thrown from ATV

He lost control and crashed into a power pole.

A man died when he lost control of his ATV, hit a power pole and was thrown from the vehicle early Sunday, according to the Morrison County Sheriff's Office

Todd Walker, 63, of Burtrum was traveling north along Barrel Road, about a mile south of Upsala, when he crashed his ATV. The sheriff's office got a call about the crash at 1:07 a.m. Sunday. 

Walker was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The crash is still under investigation. 

As of May 27, there have been four fatal ATV crashes in Minnesota this year, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources' website shows. Last year, there were 11 fatal ATV crashes
