A 26-year-old Minneapolis man died after a fall in Lakeville on June 22, according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner

Jose Francisco Cela Guasco fell around 11 a.m. at 17400 Glacier Way in Lakeville and was pronounced dead at 11:43 a.m., the report said.

He died of blunt force head injuries, with the manner of death listed as an accident.

According to Lakeville Police Department, Guasco fell from a balcony at a construction site. Officers arrived at the scene and found him to have sustained a serious head injury. Unfortunately, first responders weren't able to revive him.

The address where Guasco died is the same address as Springs at Lakeville, a luxury townhome and apartment complex that is under construction, according to the company's website. Some rentals are expected to open in July of this year.

"Numerous safety items including hard hats, safety harnesses and railings were all in place at the time," police said.

Lakeville Police Department and OSHA are investigating.
