The Minneapolis Police Department confirmed on Sunday evening that the man in his 20s who was shot at Rouge at the Lounge just after 2 a.m. died later at Hennepin County Medical Center.

He was one of two men shot in the club on the 411 N. 2nd Ave., with a police spokesman saying officers arrived to find a "chaotic scene" at the club.

Officers had managed to restore a heart beat in the victim before transporting him to HCMC, but his injuries would ultimately prove too severe.
