Man dies after shooting in St. Paul's East Side
A man died in St. Paul after shots were reported on the city's East Side.
Several calls to police came in just before 10 p.m. Saturday, with officers arriving to find a man injured with gunshot wounds inside a car near East Minnehaha Avenue and North Cypress Street.
Despite police rendering first aid and calling for St. Paul Fire medics, the man died at the scene.
He currently hasn't been identified, and the St. Paul PD homicide, gang and forensic services unit are still working to find out what he was doing before he was shot.
No arrests have been made at this time. Anyone with information should call police on 651-266-5650.
It's the second fatal shooting in the East Side in the space of a week, following a double shooting on Saturday, Apr. 18 that left one dead and one wounded on the 1400 block of East Minnehaha Avenue.
