A man has died and another has been arrested after an altercation in downtown Minneapolis resulted in a stabbing and a crash.

The incident unfolded at around 11:10 a.m. on the 500 block of South 8th Street.

"The preliminary investigation indicates that an altercation occurred between 2 individuals that resulted in a stabbing and a motor vehicle crash," Minneapolis PD said.
