Man dies in alley after report of shooting in Minneapolis
A man died in Minneapolis after being found in an alley by police responding to ShotSpotter technology.
Minneapolis PD says officers were sent to the 3500 block of Girard Avenue North around 10:30 p.m., with multiple 911 callers also reporting a shooting in the area.
Officers found a man in the alley in the 3400 block of Girard, who had no pulse and wasn't breathing.
CPR was carried out and his wound was treated, but he was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made, with the suspect in the shooting gone by the time police arrived.
The victim has not yet been identified.
