A man was found dead in a grain bin on a farm in central Minnesota, shortly after he was reported missing.
The Stearns County Sheriff's Office was called at 10:16 a.m. Tuesday, with the caller stating they couldn't find their son on a farm in St. Martin Township.
The caller said they believed he may have fallen into a grain bin.
The St. Martin Fire Department found the man, identified as Brandon Schaefer, 35, of Albany, inside the grain bin, which was 3/4 full of corn.
Preliminary investigation revealed Schaefer was working in the grain bin to loosen up frozen corn, when he fell in and was buried.
He was taken to Paynesville Hospital by ambulance, but was later pronounced dead.
It's the latest in a series of farm tragedies to have been reported in Minnesota in the past few weeks.
Just last month, three family members died at a farm in Millerville, about 65 miles northwest of St. Martin Township, when they were overcome by fumes in a grain silo.
And last week, 9-year-old Marshall Bader was killed when he was accidentally pinned by a skid steer on a farm on the Iron Range.
