According to a release from Hennepin County, the 46-year-old man was found unresponsive in his cell at around 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday.

Deputies began CPR and he was taken by paramedics for treatment at Hennepin County Medical Center, but he was later pronounced dead.

His identity and cause of death will be released later by the Hennepin County medical examiner.
