Deputies responding to a report of an assault at a home in northwestern Minnesota arrived to find a man dead late Friday night.
According to the Polk County Sheriff's Office, the suspected assault was reported at 11:47 p.m. at a home in the country near the towns of Gonvick and Gully, which are located approximately 45 minutes northwest of Bemidji.
On arrival, deputies found the male victim dead inside the home.
A woman connected to the incident was arrested on suspicious of driving while intoxicated, the sheriff's office reports.
Identities of the victim and woman haven't been released and no further information is currently available. There is no danger to the public.
