Man found dead in snowbank in Inver Grove Heights
Police are investigating a suspicious death of a man whose body was found in a snowbank in Inver Grove Heights.
The man's body was discovered around 8 a.m. Monday on the 1300 block of 60th St. W., which runs just east of Interstate 494. Police arrived to the report of a suspicious incident and found the victim, who was in a snowbank on the south side of the road.
"The unidentified white male was unresponsive and found to be deceased," Inver Grove Heights Police Chief Melissa Chiodo said in a release. The victim's identity and cause of death have not been released.
The road was closed off for investigation, with local police being assisted by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
