Man found dead in vehicle following report of shooting in Minneapolis

Numerous reports of a shooting came in just after midnight, police said.

Police are investigating another killing Minneapolis after a man was found dead inside a vehicle just after midnight Sunday. 

According to Minneapolis PD, officers responded to the 2400 block of N. Emerson Ave. around 12:05 a.m. after numerous ShotSpotter activations. Police arrived and found a victim, believed to be an adult male, dead inside a vehicle on the block. 

The victim's identity and official cause of death will be announced at a later stage by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office. 

No arrests have been made and homicide investigators are on the case.
