Police found a dead body inside the ticket booth at the Wadena County Fairgrounds.

The discovery was made on Thursday evening, when the Wadena Poice Department was called to the fairgrounds on a report of "something found that was concerning."

They found the man already dead inside the booth, with death investigators called in from the Wadena County Sheriff's Office.

The body has been sent to the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office for autopsy, though police don't believe any foul play is suspected.

More information is expected to be released after the deceased's family has been notified.

Later this month, the fairgrounds will host the annual Wadena County Fair, which this year is being taken place between June 20-23.
