Man killed in fight at Cub Foods in south Minneapolis

The fight happened around 11 a.m. on Tuesday.

One man is dead after a fight at a Cub Foods grocery store in south Minneapolis on Tuesday. 

According to Minneapolis police, officers responded to call reporting a fight at Cub Foods on the 2800 block of 26th Avenue South, near Hiawatha Avenue, at around 11 a.m.

Upon arrival they found an adult man injured in the parking lot. 

He was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center but did not survive his injuries.

Police quickly tracked down the suspect at a nearby residence and arrested him on probable cause manslaughter. 

Investigators believe the two men were fighting inside the Cub Foods before it moved outside. They don't think weapons were used in the fight.
