Man killed in rollover crash in the northwest metro

The crash happened around 12:45 a.m.

One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash in the north metro. 

The Anoka County Sheriff's Office issued a release saying a 32-year-old man driving a pickup truck went off the road on the 16300 block of Armstrong Boulevard Northwest and was ejected from the vehicle when it rolled in the ditch. 

The man, whose identity is being withheld pending notification of family members, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The crash happened just after 12:45 a.m. in the City of Ramsey. No one else was in the vehicle at the time of the crash. 

The Ramsey Police Department, Minnesota State Patrol, Anoka County Sheriff's Office and Midwest Medical Examiner's Office are actively investigating the crash. 

There have been 308 deaths on Minnesota roads in 2019, according to the Department of Traffic Safety. At the same point in 2018, there were 315 deaths with a year end total of 381.
