Man killed in tractor rollover accident in Le Sueur County

A 70-year-old man was killed Wednesday in a tractor rollover accident in south-central Minnesota. 

According to the Le Sueur County Sheriff's Office, the crash happened in Lexington Township at approximately 9:40 a.m., with first responders arriving at the scene to find 70-year-old Joseph Schatz trapped under the tractor. 

Emergency workers were able to extricate him but lifesaving efforts weren't successful and he was pronounced dead at the scene. 

What type of tractor Schatz was operating is unclear and no further information has been provided.
