A man died on a farm in Stearns County when the skid steer he was operating became rolled into a manure pit.

The incident was reported at 6:39 a.m. Saturday at a farm at 18726 State Hwy. 22 in Eden Lake Township.

Todd Sieben was driving a skid steer loader and was moving hay bales near to a manure pit when the vehicle rolled in.

Sieben was trapped in the skid steer and unable to get out. Efforts to remove the skid steer with farm tractors were unsuccessful as those at the scene waited for a tow truck.

It was finally removed when the tow truck arrived, but Sieben was found inside the skid steer already dead.
