Man killed when tree falls on truck while driving down the highway
The driver of a pick-up truck was killed when a tree fell on the vehicle while driving on a highway along the Mississippi River in southern Minnesota, the State Patrol says.

The incident happened Saturday morning on Highway 26, about 10 miles south of Brownsville in Houston County.
The truck was traveling southbound on the highway just south of Nuemann Road "when the vehicle came around a curve and a tree fell from the west side bluff landing on the windshield/roof of the vehicle," the state patrol incident report says.
The 50-year-old man fro West Salem, Wisconsin, was killed. His 51-year-old wife and his 16-year-old daughter were injured and taken a hospital La Crosse, Wisconsin, KTTC reports.
The identities of the victims are expected to be released Sunday evening, the report notes.
