It was a St. Paul server's lucky day Saturday after he received a major tip on the job at Eagle Street Grille.

Rob Griffith was the recipient of a $500 tip from a Kentucky man as part of random acts of kindness happening all over the country.

In honor of his brother's dying wish, Seth Collins been leaving fat tips for servers in several states.

Aaron Collins died unexpectedly last July at the age of 30. In his will, he asked family members to leave a $500 tip for a waiter or waitress, which Seth Collins did and posted a video of the event online.

Shortly after, donations began piling in, allowing the good deeds to continue. Seth has spent $29,000 on tips at 58 restaurants so far, KARE 11 reports.

In a rare circumstance, a Minneapolis woman inspired by Aaron Collin's spirit matched the donation, which left server Rob Griffith with an extra $1,000 in his pocket.

"It's inspiring and motivational and made my whole month probably, so I am going to do that for someone else too," Griffith told KARE 11.

WCCO says Griffith paid it forward, giving $100 each to a cook, bartender and two other servers.
