A man suffered multiple gunshot wounds in a home invasion in St. Paul Thursday morning.

According to St. Paul Police Department, the invasion happened around 8 a.m. at a residence on the 1100 block of Bradley St., with a 911 caller saying three people broke into her home and shot her boyfriend.

Officers arrived at the home and found a man suffering from three apparent gunshot wounds to his leg and buttocks. He was transported to the hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The female who called 911 had been tied up during the robbery, and two young children in the home during were unharmed. It's not clear if the children witnessed the attack.

The suspects got away with two stolen vehicles and investigators believe the victims were specifically targeted.

A motive is unknown, but police say a possible motive could be connected to a social media post from the victim saying he did well during a recent trip to Las Vegas.
