The 28-year-old suffered a non-life-threatening injury.

A man visiting relatives in the Twin Cities from North Dakota was shot in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The 28-year-old was shot in the 200 block of Century Avenue North in Maplewood at 2:15 a.m., according to Maplewood Police Department.

The man was struck once, sustaining a non-life-threatening injury, and was taken to Regions Hospital for treatment.

Police have released no details about the circumstances of the shooting, and have so far identified no suspects.

Maplewood PD is appealing for anyone with information to call 651-767-0640.
