A man wanted in connection with a shooting that followed a fight near Hinckley has been found dead.

The Pine County Sheriff's Office announced Friday that a body found in the Little Sand Creek on Thursday is that of Allen W. Hasser, aged 60.

He had been wanted in connection with a shooting on Monday in which he got into a physical fight with another man, before going into his house and returning with a gun.

As the victim was driving a way, Hasser opened fire, striking him and causing non-life threatening injuries.

The body was found a short distance west of the house where the shooting happened, and was later identified as Hasser.

A cause of death is yet to be determined by the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office, with more information expected to be released next week.
