The search for a man who went missing while tubing with friends on the Crow River came to a sad end on Saturday night.

At around 10:30 p.m., the Wright County Sheriff's Office announced that the body of 64-year-old Maplewood resident Andrew Urbanski had been recovered from the water:

The announcement says Urbanski's tube had hit a tree and flipped over that afternoon; when he didn't resurface, his friends called 911.

Two fire departments, a dive team, a water patrol team and a State Patrol helicopter participated in the search.

The accident, which happened on a stretch of the river near St. Michael, is still under investigation.
