The body of a man was found in a shallow lake at a regional park in St. Paul Saturday morning.

The discovery was made at Pickerel Lake, a motor-free lake at the Lilydale Regional Park, located on the south side of the Mississippi River.

The body was found at 11:15 a.m. by the Ramsey County Water Patrol, per KSTP, and authorities believe it may have been in the water for several days.

No information as to the identity of the victim nor his cause of death have been released.
