Mayo Clinic has decided it will close its "Healthy Living" store at the Mall of America on Feb. 28, the Rochester Post Bulletin reports.

"Mayo has learned a great deal about delivering health and wellness offerings in the retail setting and is applying what’s learned to other initiatives that are under development, including our Dan Abraham Healthy Living Center expansion in Rochester," Mayo spokesman Bryan Anderson said in a statement, according to the Star Tribune.

He also said Mayo will continue to evaluate a "long-term presence" at the Bloomington mall.

The Business Journal notes the Minnesota-based health care provider employs about 10 people at MOA.

In December, Mayo stopped providing clinical services at the Mall of America and backed out of the megamall's $200 million expansion project.

Last month, Mayo vowed to invest billions of dollars to upgrade its Rochester campus if state lawmakers approve $585 million in public financing to cover infrastructure costs.
